My story...
I'm Sam, a recently retrained Junior Full-Stack Developer looking to gain professional experience in an exciting and challenging role.
I'm a driven individual, always furthering my education and developing my skillset.
I believe strongly that the key to success is communication and this is reflected in the way I work with people and in teams. I'm never one to back down from a good challenge and I'm confident when working alone.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me at the gym, listening to music, or even attempting to learn the saxophone!
I currently live in London.
I'm available to relocate or work remotely for the right role.

Triple BTEC in Sports and exercise Science & EPQ
Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Sixth Form (2016-2018)
I researched, compiled, and presented course projects both independently and in a team. Communication was key to succeeding.
Secondary School with 9 GCSE's grade C and above
Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School (2011-2016)
I studied a range of subjects including English, Maths and the sciences. Exams were an opportunity to work under pressure and to develop time management skills.
Experience
Freelance Web Developer/ Software Engineer
2024-Present
After completing my traineeship, I began working as a freelance web developer and software engineer. The freelance projects can be found on my GitHub or projects section when completed if client permission has been given.
Labourer for local craftsman
2021-2024
I laboured for a builder and a carpenter. I helped to reduce the time spent on menial tasks, then moved on to planning the work day so that clients’ deadlines were met and work was finished to a high standard. This honed my time management and attention to detail. Both clients and employers were highly satisfied with my work.
Chef at The Shoulder Of Mutton, Osmaston
2015-2021
I started part time as a pot washer/ waiter during my school years and progressed to chef. I worked full-time once I left school and was later able to work on a variety of important events.
